We
manufacture D.C.ELECTRIC MOTORS
suitable for speed variation
by way of armature control at constant torque
and for continuous operations with separate
field excitation.Our D.C.MOTORS
are also manufactured suitable for
speed variation by field control
at constant horsepower against specified requirements.Our
standard motors function at 230 V D.C.
& 440 V D.C. However, certain
specific requirements can be incorporated to
capacitate them at 560V D.C. or as 12-2430V.
Our standard motors are screen protected drip
proof enclosure, with Horizontal
Foot Mounting and class `B' and 'F' insulation.
Totally enclosed Force Ventilated and
also Vertical type flanged mounted
can be made against specified requirements.

Temperature
rise are well within limits form and ambient
temperature of 40 C and convention as per BSS 2613/1970
and ISS 4722. Motors are heavy duty type and suitable
for Thyristor Duty & rectified DC Power.
ARMATURES
:All armatures are built up of high
grade low loss steel laminations,
pressed on and keyed to a highly tensile steel shaft.
After winding, the armature is dynamically balanced.
A fan is fitted at the drive end on it.
WINDING :Completed windings are made
of copper conductors insulated with synthetic
enamel or polyester and are vacuum impregnated with
high dielectric strength varnish and baked at
proper temperature to give complete protection against
damage from moisture, acids, alkalis or oils.
COMMUTATORS :The commutator built of hard
drawn high conductivity copper segments insulated
from one another with mica, is pressed on and keyed
to the shaft.
MAGNET FRAME :The magnet frame is fabricated
from high permeability steel. The main poles
of laminated steel are bolted to the magnet
frame.
INTER POLES :Laminated inter poles are fitted
in all machines in order to achieve perfect
commutation.
